About Karol Barboza
As the founder of Tropical Investments, Karol leads a small but mighty team responsible for representing buyers and sellers of distinguished properties throughout Costa Rica. Originally from Costa Rica, Karol Barboza grew up within a family of entrepreneurs in the capital city of San Jose. Working in the family business, Karol learned the importance of timeliness, responsibility, and honesty at an early age. Karol graduated as an engineer at the University of Costa Rica. Later, she returned to attend Law School to better understand the legal aspects of real estate in Costa Rica and then became a licensed broker. Her high level of intelligence and empathy, combined with her excellent negotiating skills, ensure she gets the best deals for her clients.
